I've always loved to map things, and I have also always been consumed with the lay of the land of our property.  the red dot is granny's and the other red dot is my folks if that helps give a bit of a frame of reference.

New sketchbook.

Today I bought a sketchbook that has paper that is made out of calcium carbonate or something like that. So it is not made from trees. It's unlike any other paper and is quite strange. Jurrys out on my like or dislike. It is kind of neat.

I am working on a lot of new stuff for ariel's album - we have decided to make a 12 page booklet of art, and that is a lot of content.  so i have been working like a dog to get things going.  She suggested having each page reference one of her songs as there are 12 pages and 12 songs on the album.  This one is for the song called 'the lion'.  What do you think of all of the orange?  i must know!  Please let loose any other constructive criticism.
