Procrastination to the Max = BDS
I began the day with a huge overwhelming list of things to accomplish, all of which are jobs that have been on my list for weeks and weeks now. I half-heartedly started a few, then quickly gave up out of frustration, lack of interest and general lethargy. Then I decided it was time to have a day off from my to-do list and spent the next 3 hours idly doodling around on Illustrator designing a logo for my yet-to-be-in-existence new club: the Backroad Design Syndicate. Isn't it a beaut of a logo? I am really pleased with my progress.

Pulley light!
After about a year kicking around the house, I finally got around to installing the antique pulley onto my rather blandish hand blown glass pendant light! Woohoo, cross it off the list.... it's done!
a few card front ideas...

Craziness has ended
With the conclusion of my show going up I have now officially ended my crazytown feelings and am back to being procrastination-kate. Crazytown-kate is my alter ego I reserve for procrastinating until its almost too late then freaking out and becoming ultra productive. Thank you to all in your time of support!
I will not spoil my show opening by giving you a full peek but here's a glimpse!

A few things that are done
I have a dreading feeling that its possible my linos are a bit on the bland side of life, they're pretty minimal but I am hoping as a whole the show will look good together. Fingers crossed, the last of my glass pieces come out of the annealer tomorrow!
I know it's only 8pm but I'm off to bed!!!

Kate Mash-up
The original is in the form of a little pink book, which is actually a regular choice for a bedtime story at our house. This scan puts it out of order, but it's still great.

Triangle Tumblers
This is how you make triangle tumblers:
1 - put colourbar in annealer
2 - set beautiful triangle mold on floor
3 - Open annealer door and look at suddenly appearing triangle tumblers
4 - Sunshine magically transports them into a row on a piece of clean white paper.
Done and done.
