a well-organized colour box

sometimes its nice to be able to find your colour when all the transparent bar looks exactly the same. i used the bar later in the day for triangle tumblers, and also one other noteworthy event... in an unprecedented feat, I managed to both cut myself and burn myself simultaneously on the leg. this was a first. it sounds like i'm being sarcastic when i am saying this but actually i am not... it's great to be back in the studio :)

ive been working on the railroad...

all the live long day....   i was actually working on this all the live long day.  ariel and i are putting this whole album thing in high gear, so now ive been working on the back of the record cover.  it meets up.  but you will really only see one side at a time unless you cut your copy of the record open.  i suggest keeping it intact. 

something epic

this is not a post of something I have made or done. All I really want to say is that I had the most EPIC idea last night as I was going to bed, for the greatest new thing in the history of time. In fact, my new idea transcends both time and likely space. I plan to start it the first week of October. Consider yourselves teased!

This new lens is the best!

I took some photos yesterday for Chelsea in an impromptu photoshoot of her wee dog django. What a cute guy! Also two of Heike in fire guarding action. Three cheers for the 80mm lens with the 1.8 f. Woop!

New sketchbook.

Today I bought a sketchbook that has paper that is made out of calcium carbonate or something like that. So it is not made from trees. It's unlike any other paper and is quite strange. Jurrys out on my like or dislike. It is kind of neat.

I am starting to think about my book and I can't decide what the main focus should be so I drew this flow chart to try to clarify my direction. As you can see, it resulted in no clarity, and only served to worsen the situation.
