Moondog

 ...the finished painting...
 ...and details...somehow the details are always better than the whole

...if the wax weren't half an inch thick, I'd cut it apart....

    The detail is gorgeous... especially the first one. I would like to see the cross-section of you ever decide to chop one of these, I bet the layers of way and paint would be so interesting :)
    How big is this painting?

    it will have to stay as is....no canvas on the sides to stretch if I cut it. It's 36 x 36" or something like that...lots of wax.
