  1. That's really cool... is what is surrounding the painting part of the painting too? I zoomed in on the photo but I couldn't tell. And are you in a tank top dammit?!?!?! First day of snow here... I AM FREEZING!! (and jealous of where you are)

  2. What's behind the painting is a ceramic by bill grace (http://www.billgraceart.com), a great artist and good friend. I've been thinking of what to put behind the painting 'cause its painted on cheap canvas board, so you've given me an idea. The painting is done totally without a brush...
    and yes, I'm wearing a tank top, it's 30 degrees!

  4. ...bring on the rebuttal! It's done by pouring paint (diluted) out of mustard bottles...the face is finger-painted....the eyes are done with a pencil...
