I am drawing this for my cousin to give to her friend and this is the only picture she has and the dog is now gone. I added another leg but am having trouble and not happy with the result. Any suggestions?
that is tricky because it is a strange posture for the dog, and you can't really access another image. I would suggest finding another image of a dog in a similar but more relaxed pose that is compositionally more balanced and then focus on the photograph for the key characteristics of the pooches face - he has such a sweet relaxed expression on his face. let that part shine. that is my suggestion.
