2 different fill techniques

i forgot that i remembered that if i just select the inside part of the top one with the selector and then fill it, then there's white space around the fill.  Then I remembered the other way to do it is fill in layers behind the black outline.  Sometimes I get so full of beans that I forget this way!!  but then i remember.
