To answer your question Becky I am enjoying my MacBook and I downloaded a 30 day trail of Adobe photoshop. I tried to download a trial of the whole creative suite but it would have taken 81 hours at our current internet connection. So I opted for the managable 6hr photoshop download. yay!
ooo sucky that would take so long, if you ever come over to my house bring your mac and we can download it here - much speedier! love the top one the best, and the bottom one i just keep reading it as warton - but i really like the white on blue. what about putting the white barbell silhouette in the middle of the O of wiarton and leaving the green one off the fitness?
i like the squares one too. too bad it was debunked. where do you go next now that she has vetoed your ideas. i liked the figures stretching and also circles. there are so many logo ideas to-ing and fro-ing. how exciting. photoshop is a life changer - how much is creative suite?
ha ha, this sounds like a lot of troubles.... make sure you charge her appropriately. it is one of the hardest but most important things to do. make sure you keep track of all this time and back and forthing :)
I have no idea how to charge. Mostly I am sure I will undercharge on this one as I am using this project as a huge learning curve. Creative Suite is about $1200.00 ouch. I might have to buy at least photoshop. Not sure what that will cost.
look into the teacher discount. also, if you are just going the photoshop route, buy photoshop elements - it is substantially less, and has basically the same features as photoshop but is more economical. i use it now for everything, as i was running a super old version of photoshop anyways. def worth the $$ and not as expensive as cs.
as for charging, shoot an email off to my mom, explain the situation and she will give you an idea of what to be charging. and ask jess what austin graphics was going to charge for those logos she got them to do.
