Here is a sketch I have done of my new friend Chris's Tiny House. He is in my business class. He will be making and selling these homes under 108' feet. He is a really great person. I hope I have captured what his house will look like when it's finished. He will be living in this one with his partner.I think I'll add some more shading underneath so it doesn't appear to be floating and perhaps a wreath beside the door?
yay I love it! A wreath sounds great - very welcoming! One thing I noticed though, I can't stop looking at the tree, my eye keep getting drawn to it because it is darker. I wish I had a tiny home, it looks amazing!
ReplyDeleteK, I am going to do one for him without the tree.
ReplyDeleteI agree. I just used it for a scaling purposes but I think it did take away from the house.
It is on wheels? It is amazing....will you also do a sketch of the inside?
ReplyDeleteIt is on wheels, it is built on a trailer. I am dying to see the inside but it's not finished yet. You can see some examples of what he is aiming for if you google 'Tiny House Blog.' It's really pretty great.
ReplyDeleteHi all! Funny you mention the 'tiny house blog'- a friend of mine just introduced me to it in the last few days. These little houses truly are amazing!
ReplyDeleteI don't know why I'm coming up as pellegrino?? It's me...heike!
ReplyDeletewelcome pellegrino... i mean, heike. haha. yeah, this is great. heike and i have talked about getting a tiny house on wheels... or a sauna on wheels. the drawing is great. i loved the sketching technique used for the tree, but i agree that it's being darker is a bit distracting from the rendering of the tiny house itself. maybe if you are trying other ideas put it in the background a little? i will definitely google tiny house blog!!
